Ever since the sacking of former Aston Villa and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, Al Ettifaq have been much-improved in the last few months, as they sit tucked inside the top-half of the table now having suffered just one loss in their last four matches. They most recently defeated Al Ahli by three goals to one in their most recent outing the other day.
They now face an Al Wehda side that begin the final day of the Saudi Pro League season sitting just two points outside of the bottom three and the danger zone. The visitors know that a defeat this week could see them slip behind Al Okhdood and into the second-tier. They have collected seven points from their last four matches.
