AC Milan vs Benfica prediction
Benfica have started the campaign extremely strongly under Marco Silva and they will travel to Milan very confident that they can come away with three points. They’ve won each of their last seven games in all competitions, racking up 25 goals in the process. The likes of Pavlidis, Schjelderup and Prestianni form a formidable attack and AC Milan’s backline will be significantly tested.
The Italian giants have started the season fairly well also, not losing in four Serie A matches and scoring twice in all bar one of those. However, only one clean sheet suggests a potential weakness on that front and something Benfica could take advantage of. When taking into account the quality on both teams from an offensive point of view, this has the potential to be a thrilling game. In terms of the result, there is excellent value in backing a draw with neither team having tasted defeat yet in 2026-27.
