Wrexham vs Cardiff prediction

Phil Parkinson had reportedly been under pressure at the start of this season but the Red Dragons have slowly improved of late. The home team have made themselves a lot more difficult to beat and that was shown again at the weekend as they shared a 1-1 draw with high-flying Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

They now face a Cardiff City side that, coached by Brian Barry-Murphy, have been surprisingly strong at the start of this season, following their relegation last year. However, the Bluebirds have been dipping and their 1-0 loss to Bolton Wanderers the other day means they have lost four of their last eight across all competitions.

Cardiff have a thin squad and could do with avoiding injuries so a fairly seismic result for Welsh football in which Wrexham topple the capital city club seems a good bet.
