Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad prediction

Jose Mourinho’s return to Real Madrid has been followed by an influx of new signings with Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Yan Diomande and Carlos Espi all joining the club. The latter scored Madrid’s late winner against Espanyol at the weekend in their opener, with Madrid having largely underwhelmed against the Catalans.

Having won the Copa del Rey last season, Pellegrino Matarazzo is expected to kick on at Real Sociedad but the Basque giants began their season with a frustrating 1-0 defeat to Real Betis at La Cartuja the other day, with Orri Oskarsson as profligate as ever with Rodrigo Riquelme scoring the winner mid-way through the second half for Los Verdiblancos.

Real Sociedad will be confident of punishing a still evolving Madrid side on the counter-attack but Mourinho’s hosts always tend to find a way, especially in the capital city.
