Celje vs Slovan Bratislava prediction

In recent seasons, Celje have reached the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League but now they are bidding for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, against a Slovan Bratislava side that reached the league phase of this competition in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Slovenians and the Slovakians shared an entertaining 1-1 draw in the first-leg of this tie at Tehelne Pole last week. Roman Cerepkai opened the scoring for Slovan after 15 minutes before Celje equalised just before half-time, via Kosovan forward Milot Avdyli.

Celje have retained a proactive and progressive style that was initially implemented by the now departed Albert Riera and so, even as they seek to be tougher to beat with home advantage, both teams scoring seems a decent bet for this second-leg.

Celje vs Slovan Bratislava tip: Both teams to score
