Norwegian champions Viking kept themselves alive in the first-leg of this tie as they now welcome Dinamo Zagreb up to Scandinavia in the UEFA Champions League.

Dinamo Zagreb threatened to run away with the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League play-off round tie against Viking with goals scored by Dion Beljo and Mateo Lisica early on. However, Viking fought themselves back to a 2-2 draw just before the break, courtesy of strikes scored by Peter Christiansen and Zlatko Tripic.
Viking managed to win the Norwegian Eliteserien in 2025, finishing ahead of Bodo/Glimt, who now sit a point behind Bodo at the top-of-the-table in 2026. Dinamo Zagreb needed extra-time to defeat FC Thun before then hammering Kauno Zalgiris by seven goals to one on aggregate in the third qualifying round.
Viking will fancy themselves with home advantage but Dinamo have some star attackers and so both teams scoring seems a decent bet for this one at the Lyse Arena.
