Arsenal preview: Rice rescues a point in Munich

An 80th-minute Noni Madueke strike handed Arsenal a slender 1-0 win at a stubborn Nottingham Forest last weekend to keep them within touching distance of table-toppers Man City.

The Gunners then drew 2-2 at Bayern Munich in an entertaining UEFA Champions League encounter on Wednesday, with Eberechi Eze and Declan Rice on the scoresheet in a contest that was marred somewhat by the injury to Bukayo Saka.

Everton preview: First league defeat

Everton's unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign came to an end with a 2-0 defeat by Chelsea last Saturday, with the Toffees holding out in the first half but conceding two Pedro Neto goals in the second period.

David Moyes' side managed just one shot on target in the second half of that contest, and they may well struggle in attack again here given that they face one of the best defensive sides in European football.
