Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Pliskova prediction
Victoria Mboko’s Roland Garros journey ended at the third-round stage as she lost a close match to Madison Keys in three sets. On the eve of the event, Mboko had advanced to her first ever tour-level final on clay in Strasbourg. However, she was unable to win the title as she lost to Emma Navarro. Mboko has been very consistent this season, with three finals in total, but she is still searching for her first title of the year.
She received a bye in the first-round of Queen’s Club and now faces Karolina Pliskova. The former world number one came from a set down to beat McCartney Kessler in her opening match of the tournament. The Czech failed to serve out the first set and went on to lose it on a tiebreak, but she would fight back in the next two sets to win 6-7 (1) 6-3 6-4 after two hours and eight minutes.
Though she is the favourite, Mboko has limited experience on grass, and she could be tested by Pliskova.
