Venezuela vs Australia prediction

Venezuela are and will remain the only South American country to have never qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Venezuelans eventually succumbed to an eighth place finish in CONMEBOL qualification, finishing below Bolivia due to a 6-3 defeat at home to Colombia in September.

Coached by former Crystal Palace defender Tony Popovic, Australia have been much-improved since his appointment, having secured qualification for the tournament. The Socceroos are building well, too, but they do come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to the United States last month.

Australia will head into this one quite confident of being able to deny quite a lacklustre and limited Venezuela side and it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter for this one.

Venezuela vs Australia tip: Double chance – Australia to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
