Under the management of former Valencia coach Marcelino, Villarreal have been brilliant, both in terms of general quality and their entertainment levels, in the last two years as they push to finish in the top three this season.
The Yellow Submarine are currently on a four-match winless run of form across all competitions after they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League at El Madrigal in midweek.

Valencia have several doubts for this one with former Real Mallorca defender Jose Manuel Copete potentially sidelined alongside both Filip Ugrinic and Largie Ramazani.
