Valencia vs Sevilla prediction

Valencia have been a difficult watch at times this season, and it's fair to say that Carlos Corberan isn't getting the best out of his team. A four-game unbeaten in all competitions will have improved the mood at the Mestalla, but they come into this fixture having been taken to 120 minutes by Cartagena in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.

Sevilla, meanwhile, desperately need to improve their league form having picked up just one victory from their last six La Liga contests.

For a side who beat Barcelona 4-1 at the beginning of October, it has been a somewhat perplexing run of form for Matias Almeyda's men.

Historically, this has been a fiercely contested fixture and another close encounter is likely. It could be just what Sevilla need to kick-start a sustained improvement in form, but it is difficult to have confidence in them right now. Neither side is particularly convincing at the moment, with a draw a distinct possibility in this fixture.

Valencia vs Sevilla tip: Draw
