Valencia preview: Under pressure
Having departed West Bromwich Albion for Valencia on Christmas Eve 2024, Carlos Corberan did an impressive job but the former Huddersfield Town boss is now coming under pressure as they drift away from the top end of the table.
The Valencians come into this one on the back of a 4-0 demolition at the hands of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last weekend, leaving them in the bottom three and the relegation places in La Liga.
Real Betis preview: Entertaining Betis
Coached by former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, Real Betis have been very impressive throughout the campaign, both in Europe and in the league, with just two defeats in 16 matches across all competitions.
Los Verdiblancos come into this one on the back of a comfortable and impressive 2-0 defeat of Olympique Lyonnais at La Cartuja in Seville the other day, courtesy of first-half strikes scored by Abde Ez and Antony.

Valencia vs Real Betis prediction
There is pressure on Carlos Corberan at the moment and that is especially coming from the local press, asking questions of him as to whether or not he is ashamed. Real Betis head to Mestalla with quality in the final third, albeit they do lack a bit of depth and they do have a jam-packed schedule. Betis do, though, remain favourites to at least avoid a defeat against Los Che.
Valencia vs Real Betis tip: Double chance – Real Betis to win or draw
