Uzbekistan qualified for a FIFA World Cup for the first time ever but three group stage defeats, conceding 11 goals in the process, means that they are now on a five-match losing streak but Fabio Cannavaro does remain in charge of The White Wolves.
IR Iran had visa and travel issues throughout the tournament but they were admirable in their group stage exit with draws against New Zealand, Belgium and Egypt. Those results do now mean that they are now winless in their last six matches.
