USA vs Portugal prediction

Mauricio Pochettino looked to have finally found some form for the USMNT last year but the Americans instead succumbed to a 5-1 demolition at the hands of a wildly inconsistent Belgium side at the weekend.

Portugal, with their star studded squad, shared a goalless draw with one of the USA's co-hosts for this summer, Mexico, at Estadio Asteca in Mexico City the other day.

Roberto Martinez' side should find it a little easier to play against the more proactive US and a Portuguese victory is now to be expected at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

USA vs Portugal tip: Portugal to win
