USA vs Peru prediction

The United States began with a bang this summer as they eased past Paraguay and Australia. They did then lose to Turkiye before getting past Bosnia-Herzegovina in the round of 32 but they were then hammered by a generally poor Belgium side in the round of 16.

Peru come into this one on the back of a 3-1 loss to eventual world champions Spain in a friendly over the summer. They have been poor for a while now with just four wins, against Uruguay, Haiti and Bolivia, in their last 23 matches.

The Peruvians are expected to struggle again for the foreseeable and the USA really should begin their next international cycle with a comfortable victory.
