Türkiye vs Hungary Prediction

Türkiye were thrilling to watch at UEFA EURO 2024 as they reached the quarter-finals before being knocked out by the Netherlands as they now take on a strong Hungary side that play a varied and entertaining style of football.

Türkiye, with former Italy international attacker Vincenzo Montella at the helm, should have won their group in League B of the UEFA Nations League but somehow finished below Wales with the Turks collecting just a point from their final two games in the group, finishing off with a 3-1 loss to Montenegro in Podgorica.

Hungary, with the tactical innovative Marco Rossi in charge, have punched above their weight for the last few years in European international football. The Hungarians may well lose their League A status this season, though, despite suffering just two defeats from the top-flight against the likes of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany and the Netherlands.

Türkiye have an abundance of attacking quality and will want to play a front foot style at home, but that could well suit Hungary on the counter-attack and this could be very entertaining.

Türkiye vs Hungary Tip: Türkiye to win & both teams to score
