This game does still have something riding on it, but only just, as a poor Togolese side now take on Sudan at Stade de Kegue in the Togolese capital city of Lome.

Key Stats

  • Togo are without a win in their last seven World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L3).
  • Togo have drawn their last five World Cup qualifying matches in Togo.
  • Sudan’s defeat against Senegal on 5 September 2025 ended a seven-match unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying (W3 D4).

Togo vs Sudan Prediction

Togo have collected just four points from their opening seven CAF qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They most recently continued that poor campaign with a very average performance in a 2-0 defeat away from home against Mauritania the other day.

Sudan have been the overperformers and overachievers in African qualification for the tournament, but they have now fallen behind the top two in Group B as a result of a 2-0 loss to Senegal the other day due to goals from Kalidou Koulibaly and Pape Matar Sarr.

This is expected to be a low-scoring encounter that produces very little moments of quality, but the Sudanese are certainly tougher to beat than Togo at the moment.

Togo vs Sudan Tip: Double chance – Sudan to win & under 3.5 goals
