THE PREDICTION

World number two Jannik Sinner made it seven wins on the spin with a consummate result over Sebastian Korda on Wednesday, conceding just three games to the American to make a big statement of intent in Monte-Carlo. The 22-year-old claimed his first Masters title in Toronto last summer but he added a second in Miami two weeks ago, his third title this season after defending in Rotterdam and achieving a huge milestone at the Australian Open.

World number 25 Jan-Lennard Struff came back from a set down to stun Sebastian Baez on Sunday and he backed that up with an excellent result over Borna Coric. The 33-year-old finished runner-up to Carlos Alcaraz last May to prove his credentials on this surface but only Alcaraz has beaten the imperious Sinner this season. Sinner beat Struff, in straight sets, in their first encounter this time last month at Indian Wells and he can be backed to do so again here.

TIP: JANNIK SINNER TO WIN 2-0
