THE PREDICTION
World number 33 Dayana Yastremska was forced to retire early in her first match at Indian Wells two weeks ago but she should be recovered in time to make a real go at her Miami Open campaign. The 23-year-old dragged herself back out of the wilderness with an incredible run to the semi-finals of the Australian Open in January, upsetting the likes of Marketa Vondrousova and Victoria Azarenka en-route, but she has struggled to make much of a dent since.
World number 113 Daria Saville overcame Shuai Zhang in three sets on Tuesday to get a foothold in at the Miami Open, building on a recent run to the quarter-finals at the San Diego Open that suggests she may finally be on the comeback trail from a long injury lay-off last year. The Aussie leads Yastremska 3-0 after winning their most recent clash in Brisbane back in January but Yastremska should be much improved in this rematch. Back Saville to earn at least a set to leave the victor up to chance.
