West Indies have now lost just one of their last five test matches after winning the opening test of this series against the Tigers, doing so by eight wickets. You could argue that their most recent triumph was the Windies’ most impressive result of those last five and they’ve not looked this good in red ball cricket for a significant period of time.
How Bangladesh respond will be fascinating. The hosts’ bowling attack was surprisingly nullified in the fourth innings of the first Test as West Indies chased down their victory target for the loss of just two wickets. It was so impressive the way the tourists have adapted to their environment and you’d expect the same again here. Form is in their favour and at long odds, backing West Indies looks the value play.
