The fifth seed dominated the first set and held off a Stusek fightback to dominate the decider and win 6-0 3-6 6-3. She is into the last eight of a WTA event for the second time this season, following her run to the final of the Ostrava Open earlier in the year.
She will face Anhelina Kalinina next. The Ukranian was untroubled in the previous round as she swept aside Maria Lourdes Carle in straight sets. Kalinna broke on six separate occasions as she wrapped up a 6-1 6-3 win after one hour and 24 minutes. She has progressed to five finals in total this season, with four being on the ITF circuit.
Kalinina is the favourite for this one, having won 32 of her 40 matches on clay this season. Korpatsch's defensive consistency could frustrate her opponent at times, but Kalinna will be expected to come out on top.
