Talleres de Cordoba remain winless and have collected just one point from their opening four matches of the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign. The Argentinians come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Paraguayan outfit Libertad last week to mean that they have won just one of their last 18 matches across all competitions.

Alianza Lima, on the other hand, most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Atletico Grau in the Peruvian Apertura in a game in which they did have a man sent off but fought back. They most recently suffered a 2-0 loss at home to Sao Paulo in this competition but will fancy themselves too challenge the top two if they can get a win here.

Talleres de Cordoba are not a good side but the same could probably be said for the Peruvians. Alianza Lima are slight favourites for what is likely to be a low-scoring, low quality encounter.
