Swansea vs Wrexham prediction

Now under the management of Vitor Matos, the former Maritimo boss who has replaced Alan Sheehan so far this season, Swansea City come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium, on the back of back-to-back wins to nil against Oxford United and Portsmouth to begin the Matos era.

They now face a big spending Wrexham side that begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom-half of the table but just six points outside of the top six and the playoff places. Phil Parkinson’s Red Dragons were held to a 2-2 draw with Watford at the Racecourse Ground last weekend, snatching a last-gasp equaliser.

Wrexham are now four without a win but remain tough to beat in the Championship and so a low-scoring encounter appears a good bet for this one down in Swansea.

Swansea vs Wrexham tip: Under 2.5 goals
