Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Ignacio Buse prediction

Stefanos Tsitsipas suffered a 12th successive defeat to Novak Djokovic as he lost in the second-round of Wimbledon. The Greek’s best result at SW19 remains a round-of-16 appearance on his debut at the All England Club. The Greek’s ranking has now slid to 87 in the world, and he has lost seven of his 12 matches on clay this season.

The former world number three faces Ignacio Buse in the first-round. The Peruvian won the first tour-level event of his career at the Hamburg Open earlier this year. Buse also won his first ever match at Wimbledon after a win in round one over Emilio Nava, before a tame loss to Jenson Brooksby in straight sets.

They played against each other for the first time just last month, with Buse defeating Tsitsipas in the first-round of the Mallorca Championships. Buse will look to extend the rallies and force errors from the two-time Grand Slam finalist, while he does have a mental advantage after that previous victory.
