  • Congo DR have lost only three of their last 17 World Cup qualifying matches (W9 D5).

South Sudan vs DR Congo Prediction

In Group B of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, South Sudan have only collected three points from their six matches thus far, with three draws and three defeats. Mauritania sit rock-bottom in Group B, whilst Togo also remain winless, too. Senegal are the giants of the group but they currently sit second in their group, above Sudan on goal difference but a point behind the Democratic Republic of Congo, who appear to be a very strong side with a developing and emerging squad.

The Democratic Republic of Congo come into this one on the back of a 3-1 friendly win over Madagascar during the June international break, to mean that they have now enjoyed four successive FIFA-recognised victories in the calendar year of 2025.

South Sudan will seek to be stubborn in this one, but the Democratic Republic of Congo remain firm favourites for this one at the Juba Stadium in South Sudan this week.
