Sigma vs Malmo prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League playoff round tie, Malmo eased past Sigma Olomouc by three goals to nil at the Eleda Stadion in Sweden last week. Former West Ham United attacker Sead Haksabanovic scored a brace in the first-half of that game, before Lars Berg Johnsen then notched a second-half stoppage-time penalty.

Sigma have already surpassed expectations by qualifying for the UEFA Europa League, and they assured of making the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League. Malmo head to Czechia on the back of a goalless draw with Goteborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan at the weekend, as they sit 13 points adrift of league leaders Mjallby.

Sigma will likely be quite entertaining for this second-leg, needing to go all out on the attack, but Malmo remain firm favourites to complete a comfortable two-legged victory.
