How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • The Seychelles have yet to win a World Cup qualifying match in 22 previous attempts (D2 L20).
  • Gabon have won seven of their last nine World Cup qualifying matches (L2).
  • Gabon are aiming to win four successive World Cup qualifying matches for the first time since the 2010 edition when they won five in a row.
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored five goals in his last five World Cup qualifying appearances for Gabon.

Seychelles vs Gabon Prediction

It has been a very tough start to qualification for Seychelles, with six defeats from six and they have already been eliminated as one of the weakest sides on the African continent. In those six games, they have scored two and conceded 30 goals, with their most recent outing being a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Burundi.

Gabon, on the other hand, captained by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, have an impressive squad and they sit just a point and a place behind African champions Ivory Coast at the top of Group F. The Gabonese most recently eased past Guinea-Bissau by two goals to nil in a friendly back in mid-June.

Seychelles will want to restore an element of pride but the expectation is for this to be a romp for Gabon, and they should win this one quite comfortably.

Seychelles vs Gabon Tip: Gabon to win -2 handicap
