Roma vs Lille prediction
Following the appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini over the summer, Roma have started this season well and the Giallorossi began their UEFA Europa League campaign with a defeat of other French opposition, defeating Nice by two goals to one, courtesy of goals from Evan Ndicka and Gianluca Mancini.
They now face a Lille side that, under the management of former Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais boss Bruno Genesio, have displayed a lot more attacking intent to the same level of reasonable effectiveness this season. They began their European campaign with a 2-1 defeat of Brann a couple of weeks ago.
Gasperini’s Roma haven’t quite clicked in an attacking sense just yet but they remain a good team, and Lille have been brilliant to watch, so this could be fun for the neutral.
