Rennes vs Lens prediction

Stade Rennais come into this one on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw with Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire last weekend in a game in which they were leading 2-0 until the 65th minute. They have been inconsistent and fun to watch this season under Habib Beye, with their five matches consisting of 15 goals thus far.

They now face a Lens side that head into this one on the back of three victories in their last four matches under the management of former Olympique Lyonnais boss Pierre Sage. The northerners most recently eased past Lille by three goals to nil in the Derby du Nord at the weekend at Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Pierre Sage is a good coach and his Lens side have only suffered a couple of slender defeats against strong sides so far this season and siding with them would be the way to go for this one.

Rennes vs Lens tip: Double chance – Lens to win or draw
