Real Madrid vs Barcelona prediction

After finishing seventh in the league phase, Real Madrid overcame Paris FC 5-2 on aggregate in the inaugural knockout phase play-offs to reach the last eight of the UEFA Women's Champions League for the second season running, and third time overall.

Las Blancas have won their last seven Liga F matches, and the last five without conceding a single goal.

That defensive stability will be put to the ultimate test by Barcelona though, with the Catalan giants having topped the league phase with 20 goals scored across their six fixtures, with 16 points gained from a possible 18.

Pere Romeu's side are also flying domestically; they top Liga F having won 22 of their 23 games, and while they claimed silverware in January by winning the Women's Super Cup, beating Real Madrid 2-0 in the final.

Indeed, Barca have won all three of the sides' meetings in 2025-26, and despite Real Madrid boasting home advantage, this first leg is expected to be no different. However, with the hosts having been solid in defence recently, we're not expecting a landslide in the Spanish capital.
