Having returned from FIFA World Cup 2026 in good form, Inter Miami come into this one on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw against the Philadelphia Union, with Lionel Messi again shining, after they had succumbed to a 4-1 loss against Nashville in Tennessee.
Toronto have won just four of their 20 matches in MLS as they begin the weekend sitting outside of the top nine and the extended play-off places. The Canadians shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Charlotte in midweek, fighting back from 3-1 down late on.
Toronto may take some encouragement from that but, back at the Nu Stadium in Florida, the Messi-inspired Inter Miami really should get themselves back on the winning track.
