Raphael Collignon vs Lorenzo Sonego prediction
Raphael Collignon mounted a comeback to defeat Timofey Skatov in the first-round of the Swiss Open. The Belgian dropped the first set and looked on course for an early exit as Skatov broke in the second to go 4-3 up. However, Collignon broke back in the very next game and forced a deciding set after winning the tiebreak. A solitary break at the start of the third was enough as Collignon held serve from that point to win 3-6 7-6 (1) 6-4.
He will face Lorenzo Sonego for a place in the quarter-finals. Sonego defeated Joel Schwarzler in straight sets. The Italian was not broken on serve as he wrapped up a 6-4 7-6 (4) victory after one hour and 50 minutes. Sonego advanced to the third-round of Wimbledon a fortnight ago, his best result of the campaign so far.
Collignon is the slight favourite to advance, but he cannot afford a similarly slow start against Sonego.
