Portugal vs Switzerland prediction

Switzerland seems to have found an extra gear during the knockout stage, winning both of their games by three goals to one and will need to conjure up that potency in front of goal once again here against Portugal, who thrashed Mexico 5-0 in the last round. Two attacking sides with excellent young forward players should make for an entertaining contest.

Whilst there is a lot of pressure and tension that comes with a quarter-final, all four knockout stage matches played so far that have featured one of these two sides has seen over 2.5 goals scored. The same outcome is expected this time around, although the result itself is a lot tougher to call.

Portugal vs Switzerland tip: Over 2.5 goals
