Uruguayan giants Penarol have assured themselves of qualification for the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores but they will be able to compete for top spot with the visit of Velez Sarsfield.

Penarol have collected all ten of their Libertadores points in their last four matches, having begun their campaign with back-to-back losses. The hosts most recently defeated Plaza Colonia at the weekend to mean they have now enjoyed an 11-match unbeaten run of form across all competitions.

The last time they lost actually came against upcoming opponents, Velez Sarsfield. Since then, though, Velez have been quite inconsistent and they most recently suffered a 2-0 loss to Lanus in the Round of 32 of the Copa Argentina last week to mean that they have just three victories in their last eight games.

Given the form of the two sides, and the fact that Penarol have home advantage, siding with the Uruguayans to clinch top spot in Group H would appear the likeliest outcome for this one.
