Paul Badosa’s resurgence continued after another impressive display in a straight-sets victory over Panna Udvardy.
The Spaniard made it eight straight wins across all tiers with a 6-4 7-6 success over the Hungarian fifth seed.
The former world number two will now meet world number 148 Tamara Zidansek after the Slovenian upset second seed Petra Marcinko 6-3 7-5.
This will be their second meeting with Zidansek surprisingly winning their maiden tussle 8-6 in the third at the 2021 French Open.
That will give Tamara extra belief on the back of her strong run here, but Badosa is also in excellent form and this may well go her way in the third this time around.
