PAOK vs Rijeka prediction

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa League playoff round tie last week saw Rijeka manage to edge past PAOK Salonika by a goal to nil at Stadion HNK Rijeka in Croatia. Bosnia-Herzegovina international attacking midfielder Luka Menalo scored the only goal of that game, mid-way through the first-half.

PAOK will be reliant on home advantage throughout their UEFA competition run, with the hostility of the Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki often playing to their advantage. Rijeka will head to Greece with a couple of new signings, such as Daniel Adu-Adjei, who has reportedly joined for £1.2 million from AFC Bournemouth.

Rijeka will believe they have the capabilities to hit on the counter, but PAOK have to be firm favourites to still overturn the deficit, especially back in Greece.

PAOK vs Rijeka tip: PAOK to win
