PAOK vs Celta Vigo prediction
Under the management of Razvan Lucescu, PAOK sit third in the Greek Super League after recent goalless draw with city rivals Aris Thessaloniki and then AEK Athens. They did ease themselves into the semi-finals of the Greek Cup last week with a 3-0 aggregate defeat of Rafa Benitez’ Panathinaikos.
Claudio Giraldez’ Celta have been one of the best teams to watch in European football for the last couple of years and they remain strong now. The Galicians have hit a rough patch of late, though, with their 2-2 draw with Espanyol last week meaning that they are now winless in their last five matches across all competitions.
Home advantage will give PAOK impetus. Celta, though, will themselves be confident of repeating their 3-1 win at Balaidos against the Greeks back in early October. It should be a fun first-leg for the neutral.
