Panama vs Guatemala prediction
Panama have been improving for a while now, as shown by their defeat of the United States to finish third in the CONCACAF Nations League in March. They were, though, held to a surprise goalless draw by Suriname the other day, holding them back in their pursuit of a second ever FIFA World Cup qualification.
Guatemala, on the other hand, began their campaign with a surprise and frustrating defeat in Guatemala City after they had been CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-finalists over the summer. Harold Osorio scored the only goal of the game as El Salvador defeated the Guatemalans by a goal to nil.
Panama may have been held the other day but they will expect to be at the tournament next summer, and they are firm favourites for this one at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez.
