Palmeiras vs Bolivar prediction

Coached by Abel Ferreira, Palmeiras are the only team to have started the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign with a 100% record. Their 1-0 defeat of Sao Paulo in the Brazilian Serie A at the weekend means that they have now enjoyed 11 victories in their last 12 matches across all competitions.

Bolivar are often reliant on their home advantage of playing in the high altitude of La Paz in Bolivia with ‘Los Celestes’ one of the weaker sides in terms of actual quality. They defeated Aurora by two goals to nil in the Bolivian Apertura at the weekend after a 2-1 loss to Sporting Cristal in this competition last week.

Palmeiras’ only concern, and even then it would be slight, about Bolivar would be playing the game away from home so this one is expected to be quite a heavy home win this midweek.

Palmeiras vs Bolivar tip: Palmeiras to win -1 handicap
