Norway team news: Nothing fresh

Norway have a fully fit and available squad, and they have already wrapped up top spot in Group A as neither Finland or Switzerland can finish above them. That means they may well make a few changes for this final group stage game.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Panengstuen; Woldvik, Mjelde, Hansen, Lund; Kielland, Gaupset; Maanum, Graham Hansen, Terland; Hegerberg

Iceland team news: Arnadottir injury

Iceland were worried about the fitness of captain Glodis Viggosdottir ahead of their 2-0 loss to Switzerland, but she has recovered from illness. Hildur Antonsdottir has returned from a one-match suspension for the Icelanders. Right-back Gudny Arnadottir is now unavailable due to a hamstring injury sustained against the Swiss.

Predicted XI (4-4-1-1): Runarsdottir; Heidarsdottir, Viggosdottir, Sigurdardottir, Arnardottir; Eiriksdottir, Antonsdottir, Johannsdottir, Jonsdottir; Vihjalmsdottir; Jessen

Norway vs Iceland prediction

The Norwegian national women’s team are no longer the force that they once were, but they remain strong and have fallen into the softer side of the draw. They will believe they are firm favourites to win their quarter-final against Italy or Belgium after a couple of 2-1 victories against Switzerland and Finland in the group stages so far.

They now face an Iceland side that performed well in qualification but they have underwhelmed quite a lot at this tournament. They have been eliminated ahead of their final group stage game after suffering a 1-0 loss to the Finnish, before then losing by two goals to nil against Switzerland a few days’ later.

Iceland will take on Norway looking to restore some pride and Norway may well rest and rotate but the Norwegians remain firm favourites for this one this week.
