Netherlands team news: Potential change

Danielle van de Donk was left on the bench against England due to a knock, so her involvement from the start remains a doubt for this one, but she should be fit and available.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Van Domselaar; Casparij, Janssen, Buurman, Brugts; Kaptein, Groenen, Pelova; Grant, Miedema, Roord

Questionable: Van de Donk (Fitness)

France team news: Fully fit France

France will be frustrated to have to name their strongest eleven for this one as qualification isn’t yet assured, despite beginning Group D with back-to-back victories ahead of this final clash.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Peyraud Magnin; N’Dongala, Samoura, Sombath, Bacha; Geyoro, Toletti; Diani, Majri, Malard; Mateo

Netherlands vs France prediction

The Netherlands will believe they have a chance of winning this tournament, but they are facing an exit unless they can win and win well here. Their goal difference took a battering against England, so it is now -1, after a 3-0 win against Wales in their opener.

With England likely to hammer Wales, the Lionesses should be assured of a top two spot, and therefore it is a playoff, but France’s goal difference is currently +4 after their victory against the English and then a 4-1 defeat of Wales.

The French are much-improved since their underwhelming 2024 Summer Olympic campaign, in which they were knocked out of the quarter-finals as the host nation.

The Dutch have to win by two or more goals to advance on goals scored, so it is likely to be an open affair here, in which both teams scoring seems a good bet.

Netherlands vs France tip: Both teams to score
