How to watch online: UK – Amazon Prime / US – Disney+

Key stats

  • Czechia won all the previous six international matches between these teams.
  • Montenegro are aiming to win three successive World Cup qualifying matches at home for the first time.
  • Czechia have won five of their last seven World Cup qualifying matches (L2). However, they did lose 5-1 away from home against Croatia in their most recent fixture.

Montenegro vs Czechia prediction

Montenegro come into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw with Armenia in an international friendly in the Armenian capital city of Yerevan in their most recent outing during the June international break. The Montenegrins have now managed just three victories in their last 12 matches since the summer of 2024.

They face a Czechia side that had started their UEFA qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with three victories from three and they remain at the top of the group, but Croatia have two games in hand and the Croats did dispatch of the Czechs by five goals to one in Zagreb a few days ago.

Czechia will be seeking to bounce back from that to keep the pressure up on Croatia, but Montenegro have shown that they can make things difficult with home advantage.

Montenegro vs Czechia tip: Czechia to win & both teams to score
