Moldova vs Israel prediction

Having nearly qualified for UEFA EURO 2024, the Moldovans have started UEFA’s qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup very badly with three defeats from three in a tough Group I. The Moldovans most recently suffered a 2-0 loss to Italy at the Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo in Lombardy during the summer.

They now face an Israeli side that do have some impressive players but their overall results have taken a hit as a result of not being able to play at home as a result of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. The Israelis have started their campaign, though, with a couple of victories and a defeat.

Israel will head across to Chisinau as favourites, but it is a game that can burst into life, with Moldova more than capable of playing their own part with home advantage.

Moldova vs Israel tip: Israel to win & over 2.5 goals
