Defending champions Mohun Bagan have hit a bit of a bump in the road as they now take on an in-form and seemingly strong Punjab FC side this weekend.

Mohun Bagan vs Punjab prediction

Having won the Indian Super League title last season, Mohun Bagan began this season with four successive victories but they have since now shared two draws either side of a 1-0 loss at home to Mumbai City before the March international break.

They now face a Punjab side that are unbeaten in five games since losing on the opening day of the season as they now come into this one on the back of back-to-back victories against the Kerala Blasters and then against Mohammedan.

Punjab find themselves in good form and will pose a threat here but Mohun Bagan have to be viewed as the favourites to come out on top at the Salt Lake Stadium.
