MK Dons vs Oxford prediction

After a heavy summer of spending in League Two, Paul Warne got off to a slow start at Stadium: MK but there has been a major improvement from the pre-season fourth-tier title favourites. MK Dons have stuttered once again of late, though, with just two victories in their last seven matches in the league.

They now face an Oxford United side that have parted company with Gary Rowett but the U’s have yet to replace him, with Craig Short still in charge on an interim basis. The visitors most recently suffered a hard-fought 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town on New Year’s Day, making it four wins in their last five matches.

Oxford’s primary focus will simply be on survival in the Championship and this seems like a good shout to have one of the smaller upsets in this third round.

MK Dons vs Oxford tip: MK Dons to win
