Millwall have started the season very well on the road as the Lions now welcome the bizarrely entertaining Wrexham to The Den in Bermondsey this weekend.

Millwall vs Wrexham prediction

Millwall missed out on the top six and the playoff places on the final day of last season. The Lions started the campaign with a victory on the road at Carrow Road against Norwich City before being beaten 3-0 by Middlesbrough at home. Alex Neil’s side have recovered from that to then defeat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane last weekend.

Phil Parkinson’s style of football is very defensive but his Wrexham had often been chaotic until last season when they went into ultra-reactive mode and gained promotion. This time around, though, the Red Dragons’ five matches across all competitions so far this season have consisted of 23 goals.

Wrexham are winless in the Championship, but their performances have been reasonable, and both teams scoring would again appear a decent bet in London.

Millwall vs Wrexham tip: Both teams to score
