Mia Pohankova has not competed since her final loss in Wiesbaden at the start of last month. She is ranked inside the top 300, with the 17-year-old having won 18 of her 24 matches in 2026 at lower-level events, picking up a title in Leszno. Pohankova made her WTA Tour debut in Chennai last year, while she also won the girls singles title at Wimbledon in 2025.
Her opponent is second seed Clara Tauson. She fell to a fifth defeat in a row at Roland Garros as she was beaten in the first-round by Daria Snigur despite taking the first set.
