Mexico vs Paraguay prediction

Coached by former Real Mallorca boss Javier Aguirre, Mexico had become majorly improved for a while but El Tri actually now come into this one on the back of some poor form. The Mexicans most recently shared a goalless draw with Uruguay and Raul Jimenez was outspoken in his criticism of supporters in Torreon.

They face a Paraguay side that have a lot of talent coming through the ranks and have qualified for a FIFA World Cup for the first time since 2010. The Paraguayans did, though, suffer a 2-1 loss to the United States the other day to mean that they have won just one of their last six matches.

Paraguay lack a fair bit of nous at the moment and are trying to improve ahead of next summer, but Mexico really should be more than confident of at least avoiding defeat.

Mexico vs Paraguay tip: Double chance – Mexico to win or draw
