Metz vs Le Havre prediction

Having gained promotion via the end of season promotion/relegation playoff places, Metz have managed to collect just one point from their opening five matches so far this season. The hosts most recently suffered a 5-2 hammering at the hands of Adi Hutter’s Monaco at Stade Louis II last weekend.

They now face a Le Havre side that, under the management of former Middlesbrough midfielder Didier Digard, have started with a win, a draw and three losses so far. The visitors come into this one, though, on the back of a 1-1 draw with Lorient at Stade Oceane, courtesy of a second-half equaliser scored by Issa Soumare.

Metz have been struggling throughout the season with 13 goals conceded in their eight games, and Le Havre will seek to flex their top-flight pedigree this weekend.
