Max Dahlin vs Sebastian Baez prediction
Max Dahlin is set to make his ATP main draw debut at the Swedish Open. Dahlin is 20 years old and ranked outside the world’s top 800. This will also be his first appearance of the campaign so far, having not featured since September last year.
He will go up against Sebastian Baez. The Argentine reached the final of this event in 2022, losing to Francisco Cerundolo. He lost in the first-round of Wimbledon to Jan-Lennard Struff in five sets, despite mounting a comeback from two sets to love down. Baez’s campaign began brilliantly as he was unbeaten at the United Cup and reached the final in Auckland. He also advanced to two semi-finals during the Golden Swing. His form then dipped significantly, but he did win a Challenger title in Prostejov back in early June. Baez is ranked outside the top 50.
Baez will be the heavy favourite to win against his inexperienced opponent.
